Imaginary Instrument [2025]

This project was created for my Online Computer Arts course, with the intention of programming a looping electronic instrument similar to a pad MIDI controller.

I wanted to explore creating a website that implemented audio-reactive shaders, dynamic audio control, and ethereal aesthetics. It consists of five instruments (from left to right): bass, trilling synth, supporting synth, melodic synth, and drums. Each “instrument” element controls a different aspect of the ever-changing background, allowing the user to experiment with the audio visualization by activating each button individually or simultaneously.

Resonant Realities Mock-Up  [2025]

This conceptual website was created for a fictional client consisting of a collective of acclaimed atmospheric EDM artists, each known for their immersive productions that weave ambient soundscapes with electronic textures. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought global isolation and halted the live music experience, this collective began conceptualizing a way to preserve a sense of community. Their new initiative, titled Resonant Realities, is a digital concert platform: an ever-evolving online space where people from around the world can experience collaborative performances regardless of physical constraints.

It consists of an audio-reactive background that plays music when the user clicks the interactive 3D logo, the brand’s mission statement, several mouse-reactive 3D sculptural elements, and an interactive globe model depicting the set times for the ficitonal performing artists. Clicking the information table or the hotspots on the globe shows the set time and location.

Sneaky Squeaky [2024]

I created this game as my final project for my Creative Programming course, with the goal of creating an interactive point-and-click adventure based on a real mouse that I had found living in my closet after returning from Winter Break. All of the actions in the game are based on what the mouse really did in my bedroom.

This was the first in-depth game that I got to program, design, and stylize all by myself. Although it may seem a bit primitive, I feel as though I utilized much of p5.js’ capabilities to their fullest in its creation and got a chance to make a fun, light-hearted story game out of an otherwise inconvenient situation.
